Power BI Basics

Power BI is a user-friendly yet robust tool for creating interactive reports and dashboards using data from Microsoft 365 and other sources.   

Sonata Digital’s Power BI Basics workshop will walk your team through the process of importing data into Power BI, streamlining the data model, then using that data to produce a range of attractive, informative visualizations.   Whether you are a veteran data analyst or a complete novice, the workshop will help take your Power BI skills to the next level. 

The workshop can be delivered as either a single, 6-hour session or two 3-hour sessions.  The first half covers report/dashboard design from an existing data set.  The second half goes behind the scenes, reviewing how to import data and prepare it for analysis.  

All participants will have the chance to practice skills in real time, using either a generic demo data set or whatever real-life projects they are currently working on.  

Each session is limited to 10 participants, to ensure that every attendee has the opportunity to actively participate and receive personal feedback.  Larger groups will require additional sessions/facilitators.
