Sonata Digital helped the SEES Group use SharePoint to improve visibility around compliance policies and data.
SouthEast Eye Specialists (SEES) operates more than 30 specialty eye care centers across the southeastern United States and Virgin Islands. Because patients are referred to SEES’ clinics by outside doctors, clinic staff need to correctly and consistently document the source and medical reason for each referral.
“Power Forums”
Sonata Digital helped SEES build a compliance portal in SharePoint where staff could look up the latest guidelines on referrals and medical coding. The portal leveraged Sonata’s “Power Forums” app to let users post coding questions and tag them by condition.

Sonata also helped SEES buid various custom forms and automated workflows, including an entry form and report for physician non-monetary compensation and a request form to have policy documents translated to different languages.
